SIGNING EVENT

For nutcracker and smoker collectors, it is exciting to meet the artist who created their pieces. Either master woodcrafter Christian Ulbricht or his son Gunther has been coming to The Curiosity Shop for a signing event for many years.  Held each fall, the signing is commemorated with a special event piece that is signed that day. 

Collectors on our mailing list are notified well in advance of the signing.  They often come from many miles to have their nutcrackers signed and meet a member of the family that has come from Germany to meet the collectors and share stories and information about the 300 years of Ulbricht family tradition.
